OK...How did you do THAT?
It was pretty low tech, Lanny. I swiped the screenshot of The Doctor and Amy from a review of Doctor Who:The Adventure Games. Then I went into Lord of the Rings Online and ran Kharrn around Bree until I found a spot where the sun was making his shadow fall on the correct side of his body so the lighting would sort of match. I also wanted to get a shot of him I wouldn't have to resize, so it took some experimenting. (This is where being and artist helped. Scale, perspective, and lighting.) I used the 'point' emote in the game so Kharrn would be pointing. Once I had that I used paintbrush. I used the cookie cutter tool to cut out Kharrn and drop him into the DW screenshot. His shadow was the wrong color so I copied Amy's and changed it a little then put it under Kharrn's feet. Then I went in close and repainted around the outside of Kharrn's shape to make the colors match more closely to the background. I think Kharrn's pointing and the shadow really 'sell' the image. If I had time to mess with photoshop much I'd probably be dangerous...
OK... under closer inspection, I can see it. I thought that maybe you had found some bizarre level in LOTR where you encountered the Doctor. Cool, nonetheless.
A level with The Doctor? I'm emailing the LotRo Devs right now!
