Mike Henry and Jock Mahoney Tarzan DVDs

A while back I was talking about how some of my favorite Tarzan movies were the ones made in the 1960s with Jock Mahoney and Mike Henry, and also about how those were hard to come by in good quality. Well, no more. Warner Brothers has released the two Mahoney movies and the three Henry films in one set of five discs. So long bootlegs. Hello official DVDs. Get em directly from the WB store or from Amazon.

I noticed that! They also come out cheaper if you buy the set of 5. From Amazon, anyway - it's about $12 per DVD rather than $20+ per individually.

Paul, yeah that's a really good deal and I can recommend all five movies as solid series entries. I just re-watched Tarzan Goes to India over the weekend. Filmed on location and some great action in an exotic setting.

Thanks for sharing man! I have these all as DVR's and yeah...it's just not the same as offically released sanctioned DVD's! Are they available as Blue Ray?
Got to go find these now!

Think it's just DVDs, Mikey, and they're not remastered, but they were made from the cleanest available prints, so better than my old bootlegs.

Also of adventure note; the 1940 Spencer Tracy version of Northwest Passage is available as on-demand DVD, too! I've been waiting years for that to reach DVD!
